It is 8:55, you are in a bus heading to your school/workplace and your phone starts ringing. The bus is crowded, you can barely move, you irritate the people around you by pushing them while trying to get the bag from your shoulder in as little time as possible so you can find the phone in time. You grab the phone, but it is too late, and the caller's number is hidden. You put back the mobile in your bag, and realise the bus is where you are supposed to get off, and the doors are closing, so you say excuse me and jump through the people, cursing at you as the sardine ride closes...
It is 8:55 the next morning. You have bought a bluetooth headphone and microphone set for your mobile. It fits nicely in your ear. You wonder does it really increase your health by radiating less than the mobile, knowing how the bluetooth standard works. Maybe, if those who made the headset were not slacking off. So maybe not. The phone rings. You raise your hand to your ear and push the button to answer. At the same time, the bus stops abruptly and a women carrying a child starts falling back, you prevent her from falling with your second hand. She kisses you, and you reach for your pocket and take out a candy to give to the kid who got scared. Smiles and praise. You get out of the bus and wave them off.
Both times you got to school/work in time, the difference was only in the comfort. When on the street, with your hands freely moving about and you talking to someone only you can hear, different situations can happen. Imagine being concentrated on your discussion, and shouting out something inappropriate while near a police officer. And they tend to get things personally, and a lot of explaining to figure something out. So the concept has flaws, but from the subjective point of view is the answer to all your mobile phone headaches. Just have in mind that the conversation is what takes away your attention the most while driving. And don't forget to recharge the headset when recharging your mobile, to avoid any interruptions to your long talks to, seemingly, yourself. You can use one headset with all bluetooth enabled mobile phones, such as the Samsung Pixon 12, O2, Orange and other providers can't prevent you from using your headset on their phones.
