I had many affairs in my life and even took up residence with a few women for short periods of time yet never really gave any thought to settling down. I wasted most of my life looking for the perfect wife and finally found her. Before that, I really thought that my romancing days were over and done with and that I would be spending the rest of my life alone. If only I had known the way beforehand I could have saved so many lonely years. Since 2003 my wife and I have never had a fight or even an argument. Our life is filled with peace, laughter and love.

In all my life I have never seen any evidence that praying achieves anything. If prayer really worked, there would be no need for doctors or hospitals. If some divine spirit was protecting you, there would be no need for you to take out insurance. There would be no droughts, no wars and no disasters. Here are some of the reasons that I think the way I do and why I will never change. Whenever an airplane crashes and one person lives you can guarantee that he will say that he prayed and God saved him. Never mentions the hundreds who prayed and died.

High blood pressure, known as hypertension has no symptoms, which is why it is known as the Silent Killer. Once you have been diagnosed with it, you will need to check and control it constantly in order to prevent it from ruining your health or even killing you. There are many natural products that have been suggested to control hypertension. I think that I have tried them all with no appreciable effect.

Going to church on Sunday does not make you a Christian. Unless you live your life according you your Bible, and hardly anyone does, you cannot honestly claim to be a true Christian and, according to that same Bible, you will not go to heaven. The Bible is very specific about certain lifestyles but not many preachers will get into the recommended way to be a real Christian. Can you imagine him telling you to sell off all your possessions and to donate all the proceeds to the poor?

A lot of funny things have happened to me during my life. Some of them were not funny at the time but reflecting on them many years later I can see the humourous angle. I developed a positive outlook early in life which enabled me to look on the bright side even when things were going downhill fast. This has saved my life a couple of times as I tended not to panic when faced with a life threatening situation.

There is no doubt that older men are attracted to younger women, this is usually a fantasy but sometimes they wish it to become reality. In the west they would be called Dirty Old Men but in other cultures, a big age difference is common and completely acceptable. In Indonesia for example it appear that the women prefer a man at least ten years older as they consider that they are more faithful, intelligent and reliable. Instead of meeting resentment here many of my wife's friends have told her that they would love to marry a nice husband like she has.

At the tender age of 69, when I thought that my romancing days were over, I took a trip overseas and ended up with the first true love that I had ever encountered, even though I was old enough to be her grandfather! Not for one moment am I recommending that a man of my age tries to follow my example. It just so happens that it worked for us. I have several affairs in my life but I had never encountered the really dep love that we both have for each other.

After searching most of my life I finally found my life mate, a little late but better than never. During my life and seven wonderful years of marriage without a single fight or argument, I believe that I have uncovered the secret to continual happiness. Every person is different and has their own particular needs. Understanding these is the key but not too many people bother to try this. Maybe you should.

Dogs may not be able to talk to you but they can learn very quickly how to get across what they want from you. After a while, they learn the best way to communicate and you can learn the way to understand them. You will find that they are much smarter than you think and are able to understand hundreds of words. If you have the patience to spend time trying to understand them, you will end up with a much better relationship.
